Lead Nuclear Medicine Tech-Radiology - M

Summary Position Summary Responsible for performing nuclear medicine examinations utilizing radioactive isotopes on our patients as per physician orders.
Interfaces with the multi-disciplinary teams by objectively dispensing information with regard to the current standard techniques and appropriate uses of nuclear medicine services.
Performs nuclear medicine exams appropriate to the ages of all patients served.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or three to five years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
License/Certifications:
State of Maine License.
Current BLS certification.
Experience:
See Education Registered CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) through ARRT.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, employees, customers and/or boards of directors.
