Loan Processing Supervisor

Supervises a team of residential loan processors to ensure that new mortgage loan packages are processed and completed according to established policies and procedures. Ensures operations are efficient and effective. Evaluates files for accuracy, completion, and compliance with governmental regulations. Trains and supports a team of processors on current and new procedures.
Supervise the day to day operations of the residential loan processing team; ensure residential loan processors adhere to state, federal regulations and investor guidelines in addition to department procedures.
Trains and supports residential loan processors on current and new department procedures.
Coaches and monitors work closely to ensure deadlines and priorities are consistently met.
ensure team of residential loan processors are working within defined procedures; workflow output is consistent from processor to processor
Works closely with department manager to ensure procedures and workflow are as efficient as possible and will work to continuously improve procedures when necessary.
Prepares post-closing MSHA files and monitors for missing documentation to ensure timely file delivery.
Collaborates with department manager and compliance manager to address any training deficiencies or regulatory changes that could impact the loan processing department.
Effectively manage team pipeline to ensure all cycle time and objectives are met and or exceeded.
Maintain positive working relationships with settlement agents, appraisers and other vendors to ensure timely receipt of deliverables or communicate any regulatory changes that could impact business relationships.
Prvides support to department manager and carries out assigned duties and projects if necessary.
Will Proactively manage any account issues and escalate to management as necessary.
May perform other duties as necessary
College diploma or equivalent experience
Extensive background in Consumer & Residential Lending including compliance, underwriting and documentation requirements
Strong working knowledge or experience in general collections including communication requirements and legal remedies; experience in workout and/or foreclosure of residential loans
Working knowledge of personal computers including experience with word processing and Excel spreadsheets
Proven ability to effectively manage and lead subordinate employees
Ability to communicate effectively
Able to apply a practical common sense approach to difficult situations

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
