CNA-SCU

Position Summary Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse of Staff Nurse, the CNA I of the ICU performs various duties assisting in the care of patients in accordance with the established protocol, policies and procedures of LincolnHealth. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) High school diploma or general education degree (GED).# Graduate of a State Approved CNA program.# Previous experience preferred, however, new graduates considered. Successfully passed the State of Maine Certifying Exam for CNA#s.# Current Basic Life Support certification. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.# Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to add, subtract two digit numbers.# Ability to perform operations using units of the American money and weight measurements, volume and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
