Customer Service Representative - Family Medicine

  • Position Summary
    • The Customer Service Representative will answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner, schedule appointments, update patient information and overall general office duties.

  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months to one year medical office related experience and/or training preferred.
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
    • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers. Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume and distance.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
